Classroom Lead Teacher
As a lead teacher at JLHELC, you will provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children. You will promote a healthy emotional, social, intellectual and physical environment through developmentally appropriate practices. You will be a vital part of the foundation of children developing during their most formative years. Our staff supports and encourages each other, so understanding the importance of teamwork is key!
Assistant Teacher
As an assistant teacher at JLHELC, you will help provide a successful, safe, and supervised educational setting for children. You will assist the lead teacher in promoting a healthy emotional, social, intellectual, and physical setting. Being a support to the lead teacher is key, as well as keeping the classroom routines when the lead is away.
Floater/Breaker
As a floater/breaker at JLHELC, you will be supporting staff as you take over for breaks or be extra help in a classroom. You will be responsible for whatever the teacher’s role is at that moment. Being able to follow a schedule and familiarizing yourself with multiple rooms are keys to your success. Communication is also important as you will need to update the teacher on happenings while they are away.
